BUCS COMPLETE TRADE WITH WATERLOO, ACQUIRE CARLSON

The Des Moines Buccaneers have completed a trade with the Waterloo Black Hawks, acquiring 2007-born forward Cazimiro Carlson as an affiliate player in exchange for 2007-born forward Jakeb Lynch. Carlson is a Virginia, Minn., native, and is committed to St. Cloud State University. He was selected by Waterloo in the 9th round, 151st overall in the 2025 Phase II USHL Draft.

"We are really excited to get a guy like Caz in our organization," said Head Coach and President of Hockey Operations Derek Damon. "He plays a hard brand of hockey that fits our style. We are excited to get him back to us after his high school year and for the future."

Carlson will finish out his high school career at Rock Ridge High in Minnesota this season. Last year, he tallied 54P (23G, 31A), in 27GP with his high school team. The Bucs are excited to welcome Carlson to the organization and follow his success this year!
