BUCS COMPLETE TRADE WITH DUBUQUE

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Buccaneers have completed a trade with the Dubuque Fighting Saints ahead of the 2026 USHL Draft.

Des Moines receives Dubuque receives
2026 Phase II Round 3 Jacoby Palmer, D, 2009
2027 Phase II Round 7

The Buccaneers acquire a Phase II Round 3 pick ahead of the 2026 USHL Draft, which will take place beginning May 4 at 5 p.m. Phase II will begin at 11 a.m. on May 5. Find more information on the USHL Draft and viewing here.

About the Buccaneers   
Founded in 1980, the Des Moines Buccaneers are a proud member of the United States Hockey League (USHL), the nation's premier junior hockey league. The Bucs have a history of success in the USHL, including 4 Clark Cup Championships, 4 Anderson Cup Championships, and 54 alumni drafted to the National Hockey League, including Stanley Cup Champions Kyle Okposo, Alex Chiasson, Trevor Lewis, Davis Drewiske, and Erik Cole.
