Tim Conboy was born and raised in Minnesota, where his passion for the game began. He played two years in the USHL before continuing his career at St. Cloud State University, competing in the WCHA for two seasons. Following college, Tim went on to play 14 years of professional hockey, including five seasons in the AHL with Cleveland, Albany, Portland, and Binghamton, three seasons in the NHL with the Carolina Hurricanes, and six seasons in Germany’s DEL with Ingolstadt and Düsseldorf.
After retiring from professional hockey, Tim returned home to Minnesota, where he has dedicated himself to developing the next generation of players. He has been coaching both high school and youth hockey at Lakeville North, sharing his experience, passion, and love for the game with young athletes.
Tim and his wife, Sheena, live in Lakeville with their two sons, Gunnar (16) and Crew (13).
