Team President

Teut has spent six seasons as Team President where he oversees the Hockey and Business Operations for the Des Moines Buccaneers.

Nate came to the Buccaneers from the Iowa Cubs where he started as an Account Executive and worked his way into a VP/Assistant GM position.  The Iowa native attended Iowa State University, where he played baseball for the Cyclones.  He was a fourth-round draft pick by the Chicago Cubs in the 1997 MLB Draft, and pitched nine professional seasons with the Cubs, Marlins and Brewers organizations.

Teut has made the Des Moines metro his home for over 20 years, and currently resides in Waukee with his family including his two children Maddox and Harper.
