WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Buccaneers (5-2-0-1) fell in a low-scoring matchup to the Lincoln Stars (3-3-0-0) Saturday night at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex.

The lone goal of the match was scored by Lincoln forward Casey Vanderop 6:44 into the middle frame.
