Des Moines Buccaneers Announce Spooktacular Halloween Game, Fareway Friday Promotion, and Bucs Fight Cancer Night for Three-Game Weekend

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Des Moines Buccaneers are thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of events and promotions for fans during their upcoming three-game home weekend at Buccaneer Arena.
 

Halloween Game Night – Thursday, October 31, 2024

On Thursday, the Buccaneers invite fans to a spooktacular Halloween showdown as they take on the Fargo Force at 6:30 p.m. The team will be donning special Halloween-themed Grim Rinker jerseys to celebrate the occasion. Fans are encouraged to come dressed in their best costumes to participate in a Halloween Costume Contest. Additionally, kids and families can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the arena. After the game, fans will have the unique opportunity to bid on the Grim Rinker jerseys during the season's first post-game jersey auction.

Fareway Friday – Friday, November 1, 2024

Friday night marks the second game of the series against the Fargo Force, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Fans can take advantage of Fareway Friday's Buy One, Get One (BOGO) promotion by bringing a Fareway receipt to the Box Office. Each Fareway receipt is eligible for one BOGO offer on arena-level tickets.

Bucs Fight Cancer Night – Saturday, November 2, 2024

On Saturday, the Buccaneers will host their annual Bucs Fight Cancer Night, presented by Iowa Clinic, as they face off against the Waterloo Black Hawks at 6:00 p.m. in a Dupaco Cowbell Cup matchup. The Bucs will wear special "Bucs Fight Cancer" jerseys in support of the American Cancer Society. Following the game, these jerseys will be auctioned off to raise funds for cancer research and support programs.
