URBANDALE, Iowa -- Des Moines Buccaneers goaltender Max Lundgren has been ranked 10th among North American goaltenders in NHL Central Scouting's latest rankings release in preparation for the 2023 NHL Draft.
Lundgren, a native of Angelholm, Sweden and Merrimack College commit, has a 9-8-1-1 overall record, playing in 20 games this season. Lundgren, a 2002-born goalie, has a .903 save percentage and 3.17 goals against average. Lundgren is 6'4.5 and 234 pounds.
"It is great for Max to be recognized as a potential prospect in this upcoming draft," said Buccaneers head coach and acting general manager Matt Curley. "He has been a rock for us this season and expect that he will continue to lead us both on and off the ice the remainder of the season."
