URBANDALE, Iowa - Des Moines Buccaneers forward Henry Bartle announced his commitment to play NCAA Division I men's hockey at Michigan Tech University.
"I am very happy for Henry and his family on his commitment to both a great school and a great program in Michigan Tech," said Des Moines head coach Matt Curley. "He has come a long way in his development since joining our team last year and I am proud to see him earn this opportunity."
Bartle, a 2003-born left-shot forward from Blaine, MN, has 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 points in 11 games played this year for the Bucs. Last year, Bartle played in 56 games and posted 24 points. Prior to his time in Des Moines, Bartle played for Centennial High School in Minnesota where he was a captain.
Bartle and the Buccaneers are in action for three games this weekend, at home against the Fargo Force on Friday night, and on the road at Lincoln on Saturday and Sioux City on Sunday.
