URBANDALE, Iowa -- Five Des Moines Buccaneers made their college intentions official, signing their National Letters of Intent on National Signing Day.

Astapovich is a 6'1, 2005-born forward playing in his first season in the USHL, after playing for the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies 16U AAA program. Astapovich, a native of Birmingham, Michigan, has 1 goal in 4 games with the Buccaneers since arriving in a trade from the Madison Capitols.

Borozinskis is a 5'11 2004-born forward playing in his first USHL season, after coming up through the Buccaneers 18U AAA program. Borozinskis is a native of Latvia and has a goal and three assists in 11 games played this season.

Gramer is a 6'0 2005-born defenseman playing in his first full USHL season, after skating in 7 games last year. Gramer hails from Moorhead, Minnesota and played for the Spuds the last two seasons, compiling 5 goals and 41 points. 

Muldowney is a 5'11 2004-born forward playing in his first full USHL season after skating in three games last year for the Bucs. Muldowney is out of Lake View, NY and the Nichols School, and was a 6th round NHL Draft Pick by the San Jose Sharks in the 2022 Draft. Muldowney has 4 goals and 3 assists in 12 games for Des Moines this season.

Silkalns is a 6'2 2003-born forward from Talsi, Latvia, playing his first season in the USHL after playing junior hockey in Latvia. Silkalns has represented his country internationally. The forward has posted 2 goals and 4 assists in 12 games played for Des Moines this season.
